About Us

Houghton & Wyton, Cambridgeshire

The Three Jolly Butchers of Houghton/ Wyton is a traditional village pub dating back to 1620, as such it still retains many of the original features including an open fire, with real wooden beams throughout the establishment. Giving it an inviting warm and cosy ambiance.

At the rear is a large beer garden with tables to relax and eat while the children keep themselves amused in the play area. The river Ouse runs though the village, offering a pleasant walk down to our moorings.

We serve tasty home cooked food, with an excellent selection of beverages.

We also cater for private functions such as, BBQs, Weddings, and wakes. Buffet menus are available upon request.

We regularly have live bands on a Saturday and Sunday evening, along with quiz nights throughout the year.

Major live sporting events are shown in the bar area, for you to support and cheer on your teams.

Houghton National Trust campsite is situated next to Houghton Mill, it is still a working mill which also holds a wedding licence since 2015. From here you can walk to the picturesque village of Hemingford, St Ives the birthplace of Oliver Cromwell and Godmanchester.

Dogs and well behaved children are very welcome.
